The standard Cable Spiker can accommodate cables up to 150mm diameter carrying voltages up to 275KV, but if you have more powerful requirements Accles have manufactured a heavy duty version which is available for cables up to 150mm diameter carrying voltages up to 400KV. The Acvoke is a high quality, durable safety tool is suitable for all cable designs, penetrating every form of normally applied cable coverings.

In such a dangerous industry as the electrical sector, Accles and Shelvoke have studied and primed our commitment to safety over the many years we’ve developed the product. Such is Acvoke’s pioneering technology the tool has a unique self setting safety system which requires the deliberate action of pressing the Safety Catch to its ‘fire’ position. This eliminates the risk of operator inadvertently firing the tool when setting the firing mechanism. Due to the many years of painstaking product development the Acvoke is very easy to assemble, simple to operate and the safest tool available for assured cable de-energization. One ultimate product feature is the employee safety achieved through positive remote operation.

Remove firing is another innovative safety feature whereby the tool uses a seven meter long lanyard and release pin which when operated completely separates from the tool at the moment of firing. This ensures total operator safety in the event of a ‘live’ cable being spiked.

Portability is also a very useful feature of the Acvoke Cable Spiker as the tool needs no external power source. The use of a blank cartridge as the source of energy means the tool can be used anywhere.
